"What’s not to love about Umano? Warm, friendly service, fantastically delicious food, and well laid out seating. Beware the portions are a bit large, and yet so delicious, that you will possibly injure yourself trying to eat it all; we ordered 3 courses and absolutely could not make it to dessert. The food itself has a modern and yet familiar presentation. This is a restaurant you’ll want to go back to again and again and again. The bone marrow, carpaccio, and truffle pasta are enthusiastically recommended. They gave a great wine list too."

"There should an exceptional 10 stars for this heaven... its absolutely unique exquisite experience if sensation, and flavors, there are no words to describe the food we had , it was simply out of this world, the attention to details and combonation of ingredients its just super indulgent. The chef definitely deserves Michelin star, and the restaurant overall feels like home, all the staff were super humble, caring and friendly. I am definitely coming back again and highly recommend."

"Great new discovery (for us) in Neive. Granted, we have not been disappointed by any other restaurant in town in the past, but Umano adds a little something to the traditional menus available in the area, with his dry aged steaks, unheard of in Langhe since Campamac in Barbaresco 7 years ago. We had a great time and Max helped us with the menu and wine choices. Liked it so much we’re going back next week"

"Big thanks to Max for the amazing dinner and time we could spend in Umano! The seafood pasta super delicate and the 'old cow' Fiorentina steak made us speechless. Simply excellent aging and cooking. Sorry, the desert foto was forgotten, we enjoyed it so much with the Champagne recommended by Max. The combination was just pure pleasure. Btw the wine collection (incl. "Fabulous dining in Neive, with enthusiastic service and good mood. We loved the Zucchini and Shrimp starters. And the Piedmontese steak was matured and prepared to pure perfection, and went so nicely with a heavy Nebbiolo from the area."
